Dr Wong Juan Yong obtained his undergraduate medical degree from University Sains Malaysia in 2010. He then further pursued his master degree in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care from University Malaya in the year 2015 and completed the specialty training in the year 2019. He also obtained his fellowship from College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) in the year 2020.
