Dr Nor Hayati Mood Said, obtained her undergraduate medical degree from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1999. Completed Specialty Training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at University of Malaya in 2007.
Subsequently she served as an Anaesthesiologist and head the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Duchess of Kent Hospital, Sandakan, Sabah for almost 5 years before taking up Subspecialty training in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Perfusion in 2012.
She had 1 year experience working in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, United Kingdom as part of her Subspecialty training which is completed in 2015.
Her special interest is in Cardiothoracic and Paediatric anaesthesia as well as management of the critically ill patient in the intensive care.
She was previously attached to Penang General Hospital as their Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologist.
She is also a member of the Malaysian Medical Association, Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologist and Malaysian Society of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiology and Perfusion.
